The Bothan

Cool and confident, this little black box is a well-equipped space with clean design tailored to couples who appreciate their independence and privacy. It’s location is central to everything Durness has to offer including beaches, hill walking, exploring ancient caves or a round of golf.

With a comfortable mix of bespoke and up-cycled furnishings there’s everything you need to hide away for a few days, simply enjoying the remote North West.

Good to Know

The Bothan is a cosy, self-catered, intimate space. Located behind the excellent village shop, this spot lends itself well to sourcing curated food provisions or even getting your breakfast warm straight from the shop’s small-scale bakery. The well equipped kitchen gives you the freedom to cook whatever you like during your stay.

Its super comfy oversized bed with feather-free bedding and the finest linens welcomes tired legs after a long day.

Although rental is predominantly two nights, we occasionally offer one night stays when there is a lonely night available.

• Two night minimum stay
• Check in after any time after 4pm on the day of arrival. We ask that you depart by 10am on your final day
• Maximum of two adults, not suitable for children, one super-king bed
• This is a small space so please like the person you are with
• Full payment is required on making your booking by card or bank transfer
• We are very dog friendly but we ask for a maximum of two dogs and we have a £15 per dog cleaning fee
• Free wifi and wireless speaker however, this property is TV free so feel free to unplug
• Fully equipped kitchen, tea and coffee included with a French Press for your use. The Bothan is self-catered.
• We provide basic cleaning and household products including a hairdryer
• There is private onsite parking
